The cost of cleaning a carpet depends on many factors such as the size, pile-depth, extent of spots and stains, age and fibre make up (wool and seagrass vs. man-made fibres). A small and economically-made carpet will cost much less to clean compared to a large and expensive woollen carpet.
Tell us more about your carpet and the service required. A member of staff will call you back with a free and non-obligatory appraisal as well as outline what’s required to effectively clean and restore your carpets.
What’s Involved When We Clean Your Carpet?
What exactly is involved when cleaning a carpet and is a wet-dry vac. not enough? Many believe that a wet-dry vac is enough to deeply clean a carpet, but what they don’t know is that it is only good for maintenance cleans and will never give the same results of a professional deep clean.

The Eight Step Process That Makes Us Dublin’s Premium Carpet Cleaners
We have developed our process after spending many years working with all types of carpets and are proud to stand and vouch for our unique CarpetCare cleaning process. What makes our process special is not only the effectiveness in which it aids the cleaning process, but the results that it delivers time and time again. With our experience, high-tech equipment and finely-tuned process we are confident in our ability to achieve a deep comprehensive clean without damaging the physical integrity of your carpet.
1. Inspection and Planning
We start by giving your carpets a thorough inspection where we examine their condition by looking for signs of damage, wear and tear, moth damage, loose knotting, evidence of dye bleed and even signs of previous improper cleans. Once we have gathered enough data, we will take you through our professional evaluation and explain what is required to properly clean and restore your carpets to almost new.
2. Dry Dirt and Dust Removal
Most of the dirt in the carpet is caused by dry contaminants. By using some of the most powerful vacuum cleaners in Ireland we can effectively remove dry dirt and dust from deep within the pile of your carpet.
3. pH Testing and Dye Bleed Testing
After we have removed the dust and dry dirt from your carpets, we then proceed to test the colours for any potential dye bleed risks. pH is an important factor to determine the risk of dye bleed; depending on the fibre type, carpets generally prefer to be in a pH neutral state. However, over time, and after incorrect cleaning regimes, a carpet’s pH can shift causing damage to its fibres as well as cause dye bleed.
If we find that the pH is out of balance, we will first rectify the issue using either an acidic or alkaline rinse. Stabilising the pH helps to stabilise the dye which ensures the lowest possible risk of dye bleed.
4. Spot and Stain Treatment and Removal
Before we even begin to wet or dry clean your carpets, we must first tackle the spots and stains. This can be a time-consuming process, but it offers fantastic results. Our handlers have been internationally trained to tackle all manner of stains and spots and can remove them using the industry’s most recent and effective methods. Sometimes we will need to repeat this process (after the wet or dry clean) because many stains are hidden by dirt and only show once the carpet has been cleaned.
5. Wet or Dry Carpet Cleaning
Deciding whether to wet or dry clean a carpet largely depends on its fibre make up. For example, a carpet made from viscose requires a dry clean in order not to damage the fibres. To dry clean a carpet we use high-quality commercial grade, non-toxic and detergent free cleaners which are thoroughly agitated into the pile by specialised equipment. Similar methods are used on carpets made from natural fibres. Their fibres are often so delicate and fine that we do not want to run the risk of causing damage to your prised carpets.
A large range of wools and synthetic fibres can withstand high moisture cleans and are perfectly fine to be wet cleaned. We will use an array of different commercial grade cleaning agents and hand-operated tools that allow us to permeate deep into the pile and achieve the best clean possible.
Some fibres fall in between a wet and dry clean, such as silken carpets that cannot tolerate high levels of moisture. To tackle these, we use what is known as a “LM” (or low moisture) clean where our handlers scale down their tools and use small handheld 1 litre sprays and terry towels. This may increase the work time, but it is a precaution we believe is an important and valuable one to take.
6. Force Drying
All our vans are mounted with three stage, high-water lift vacuum motors that are some of the most powerful electric carpet cleaning machines in the world. Investing in powerful top-class carpet cleaning machines means we can have your carpets touch dry in as little as two hours.
Optional Extras:
7. Moth Proofing Your Carpet
Moth proofing is especially important for natural fabrics. It helps future proof your carpets and deters moths from eating away at their fine fabric. We use only 100% non-toxic and safe protectants, so you can rest assured that you, your family and pets are safe from any toxic contaminants.
8. Fibre Protect
A sealant is used to protect the fibres of your carpet by helping repel dirt, stains and spills. We highly recommend that a fibre sealant be applied to your carpets, especially in high traffic areas, and at least one a year, to ensure their longevity and health.
